Learn to Jam
Have you ever wanted to jump into a great jam session, but wasn't really sure about the etiquette, or if your skills are sufficient? Have you ever seen some of your favorite music performers in a late-night jam and thought how great it would be to participate, but just not sure if you're interrupting?
Don't worry, we've got you covered at the Route 23 Bluegrass Festival. The Wernick Jam Camp will be taught over two days by these longtime instructors Fred Staunton, left, and George Welling.

THE WERNICK METHOD
Pete Wernick’s inventive and time-tested method harnesses students’ natural wish to play music in a small group setting. With basic skills and good guidance, students start making music and having fun — almost immediately. Your Wernick Method teachers will show you the ropes of a bluegrass jam session, fitting in at your own ability level.
